Bruce Reynolds, Director of Planning and Management Division
Bruce is the Director of the Planning and Management Division of the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District (CMPDD). He is a native of Clinton, Mississippi, where he
was born, raised and still resides.
Bruce is a graduate of Ole Miss, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Masters degree in City Planning. He is a member of the Mississippi Economic
Development Council where he served on the Board of Directors as Secretary/Treasurer for the organization. He is also a member of the Southern Economic Development Council, as well
as the American Economic Development Council.
Bruce is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute from the University of Oklahoma, and has undergone other training through the National Development Council. He serves as
past president of Operation Shoestring and presently serves as Secretary Treasurer for the Mississippi Society of Association Executives and is a former member of the Jackson Rugby Club.
He is a member of Wells United Methodist Church, where he has served in various capacities including Chairman of the Administrative Board and again is Chairman of the Pastor Parish
Committee. Bruce was one of the founders of WELLSFEST, a Family Festival where all proceeds benefit a worthy organization in the Jackson area.
He and his wife, Trenia, a Clinton Public School teacher, have one child, Moni. He enjoys travel, reading and sailing aboard his sailboat the “LaMauny.”
